First Financial Security will host 80 of its top field associates and guests on Regent Seven Seas Mariner May 31-June 7 for Dream Destination Conference 2017 cruise to Alaska.
In less than a week, First Financial Security, Inc. (FFS) hosts its annual Dream Destination Conference 2017 (DDC17) reward trip. This year, 80 FFS associates and their guests will enjoy the cruise of a lifetime to Alaska. Setting sail from Seward, AK on May 31, they’ll travel southward through the Gulf of Alaska. The ship disembarks in Vancouver, B.C. on June 7.
Regent Seven Seas Cruise Line’s sleek Seven Seas Mariner will be FFS’ “ship away from home” for the eight-day/seven-night cruise. Known for its luxury and exclusivity, The Mariner is the first ship to offer all-suite, all-balcony cabins. Regent’s six-star cruises are all-inclusive and feature a comfortable chic ambience, great dining, and plenty of activities for its passengers.
Elite Trip Winners Experience Anchorage
DDC17 begins a few days earlier for the 12 couples who qualified for DDC17’s elite leg of the trip. May 29-30, elite qualifiers can explore Alaska’s largest city – Anchorage, where they’ll be staying at the Hotel Captain Cook. Conveniently located downtown, Hotel Captain Cook is known for its amazing views of the Chugach Mountains and the Cook Inlet. While in town, the group will dine at Simon & Seafort’s iconic Anchorage Steak and Seafood Restaurant.
On May 31, trip qualifiers will be transported to the Seward Cruise Port to board the ship. The three-hour journey via motor coaches will provide opportunities for the group to see the rugged Alaskan countryside.
Fun Days in Port
Thursday, June 1, is a full day at sea. Passengers will be encouraged to have their cameras at the ready, as the ship passes Hubbard Glacier. There are four stops along the way to Vancouver:
- June 2 – Hoonah/Icy Strait, AK
- June 3 – Sitka, AK
- June 4 – Prince Rupert, BC, Canada
- June 6 – Victoria, BC Canada
There will be plenty of excursions at each stop. These include such adventures as kayaking, nature walks through a rainforest or city gardens, and wildlife watches. The ship offers a variety of on-board activities for passengers who prefer a more relaxing cruise. FFS also has set up receptions and its annual business meeting for its passengers.
All good things must come to the end, and so it will be for DDC17. On Wed., June 7, the Seven Seas Mariner will drop anchor at the Vancouver, BC, port. FFS DDC17 qualifiers and their guests will begin making their way back home.
We will be posting pictures throughout the trip. Be sure to check First Financial Security’s Flickr account to see the DDC17 fun.
