First Financial Security, Inc. announced that Jay Hosier, its Manager of Agent Services, has been promoted to the newly created position of Director of Field Operations, effective Oct. 2, 2017. In his new role, Hosier will serve as a liaison between FFS and its field force.
“I will be the field’s person in the office to contact when there are issues, thoughts, improvements to FFS systems, or if guidance is needed in situations,” Hosier said. “I plan to visit with associates in their offices and at FFS meetings to discuss ways to approach our business and FFS systems.
Hosier is committed to increasing communication between the organization and its independent field force. He believes that information and requests received from these interactions will assist the Home Office staff in creating new tools or developing processes that will help improve overall production and team management.”
“This is an exciting time in our business and at FFS,” Hosier explained. “We are seeing increased growth and associates reaching new levels of success. I see the future of FFS getting bigger and our agents reaching new heights of success we haven’t even dreamed of before.”
Jay has worked in various capacities in the insurance industry for 20 years, including in field support, licensing and contracting, operations, trade desk and compliance for several companies with business models similar to FFS. Originally from Warwick, NY, Hosier moved to the Atlanta area in 1997, looking for a change from his job at a stock brokerage firm in New York City. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and their 10-year-old son, Jay.
When he was asked what he enjoys most about his job, Hosier said it’s always been the interaction with the field. In this new and important role, he will have an opportunity to do more of what he loves – working with FFS leaders and associates.
