LiSA Initiative, a grassroots awareness organization sponsored by First Financial Security, Inc., brought its financial literacy movement to Charlotte, NC., on Jan. 9, 2016 for an all-day informational seminar. Nearly 100 people packed an Urban League of Central Carolinas meeting room to learn about LiSA Initiative and its efforts to help all women and their families achieve financial security and the peace of mind that comes with it.
In addition to financial literacy, the event provided insights into building intergenerational family wealth and its importance to communities across the country. In the afternoon, those who attended learned more about First Financial Security, Inc.’s empowering entrepreneurial opportunity.
The seminar was sponsored by LiSA Initiative, First Financial Security, Inc. (FFS), Family Wealth Strategist Marlon Smith, and FFS National Marketing Director Jak Horakunwetchana. Co-CEO and Chair of LiSA Initiative, Debbie Gerlicher, FFS President Meg Jones, Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Maria Luz Riofrio, and Community Outreach Coordinator Caroline Schuler were in attendance.
